    Show your new tool arrivals

Sorry, didn’t see this question! Yes, they are 120xp. Didn’t think I would use them much, but keep reaching for them more and more. Been awesome so far.

Who still uses corded tools, and what’s in your collection?

Aside from the big stuff...my corded tools are limited these days. Like most here I have a hammer drill, metabo/grinder, and a recip saw.

Snap-on guy showed up with some things I ordered 😁 And of course the obligatory drawer pic with some new tools

Single handed pliers better suited for cutting hardened wire than knipex cobolt

I almost find it hard to believe people are still allowed to do that kind of stuff in a manufacturing environment. I would be ate alive if I designed a process like that lol! In my shop, I'd have to come up with something power assisted. Either pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic. Then...

Do you use low profile sockets?

I use my SO sets all the time. Granted, I work on a ton of custom cars/trucks. Most of the time the people "engineering" the build forget about wrench clearance. Makes low profile sockets a necessity for some jobs...without taking the entire engine out anyway lol

Snap-On Ratchet with or without comfort grip

I use both. Usually grab the soft grip for most things. When it comes to really greasy hands or clearance problems, i grab the chrome stuff. Speaking of which, I need to snag up some chrome 1/2 ratchets.

    Just bought an FJ300 jack.

Guess I missed all this fun. I got the FJ300 as part of a deal (not typical truck deals). Been a good little jack. Haven’t really thought about it much since it was free lol

Locking flex head ratchets, I think I am over them.

Exactly. I've been able to get by just fine throughout the years by tightening the flex head, or the tape routine. But that gets old lol. I seem to use them the most when I'm trying to get at a blind bolt, that's obstructed by wiring harnesses and/or hard lines. Where you fight getting the...

    Induction heater tool

I have the mini ductor 2. Probably one of my most valuable tools living up here in Michigan. Right along with the flame wrench, plasma cutter, and welder lol. Haven’t used a different brand, but know quite a few with mine. They all swear by it! After owning it a few years, I now find I reach...

Locking flex head ratchets, I think I am over them.

Have a long 3/8 and 1/2 Snap-on. I like them for the intended purpose I bought them for. Reaching behind tight areas you can’t really see, needing a flex head, but also more ratchet head retention. Areas like between engines and firewalls. Trying to use these as a standard flex was worthless...

    Ratchet Extensions That Don't Twist

I have a few Snap-on long extensions. Always do their job. Never owned a locking extension, gotta try one i guess. I have a love hate with my long wobble extensions. I’m hard on them though. Probably go through 3-5 wobbles per yr lol.

Looking for a socket 1/4" drive deep swivel 3/8" size six point preferred

Re: Looking for a socket 1/4" drive deep swivel 3/8" size six point preferred Nvm...read that wrong lol

What type of Torque Wrench do you prefer?

I just tossed every one of the solar mics and calipers in the trash at work lol. Refuse to ever buy them again. Granted, all my personal hand measuring tools are analog so I’m sort of biased. For typical shop personnel and dedicated bench gauging I get it, you almost need digital tools because...
