That facom looks similar to this toptul http://www.autokaubad24.ee/en/products/tooriistad-kasitooriistad-haamrid-napitsad-tangid-jm-ratchet-wrenchs/toptul-karistivoti-pikkus-195mm-hammaste But I guess it's the other way around :)

Got a new old stock saltus side cutter today, from the same store that I bought the other pliers, a pretty expensive store specialized in boat supplies, thankfully it was on sale for 5 euro.

Thank you for that info! Will be getting them straight from the source in the futute! Does anybody know if C.K actually makes anything themselves anymore? These screwdrivers seem to be made by VATA:

Carl Kammerling does this on their ESD electronics pliers too: Maybe other manufacturers too, I have just not looked for that feature. I am very impressed with the finish on these C.K tools. For the price I think that they are the nicest looking german made electronics pliers I have seen.

Got a pair of pliers today on sale, the knipex 1098 are crimping pliers for oetiker hose clamps and the bahco 222 are their tiniest model I think, under 6" 5 euro each was not bad, both are new old stock

Haha yeah I hear what you are saying, I have had the same relation to sandpaper. When I was growing up my first memory of mirka was that it was they who made a giant roll of sandpaper that we had standing in the corner in the workshop. My grandparents had found it at the local dump, so I guess...

Are you talking about mirka? Their manufacturing plant is 20 km from my home! I do not know if they make the angle grinder discs themselves, but their sandpaper products are made there. They are great, but not cheap.

My local grocery store stocks some tools cause I live out on the country side and it's quite common here that the stores carry a bit of what the locals might need, and there are a lot of farmers here. Some of these stores have been around for decades and if lucky you can find some really old...

Yeah, they seem similar in quality too, but they are definitely not the same company. Both do OEM stuff though, just found a local store selling vata screwdrivers under the brand WELL MADE. I think the biggest thing not giving the taiwanese brands the cred they might deserve is that the...

What is the general opinion on Vata tools around here? Since Toptul seems to get a lot of praise, I was wondering if Vata is of compareable quality. I own a 15" breaker bar and some torx precision screwdrivers that I am quite fond of. Taiwan is part old world, right!

    good breaker bar

Thanks guys, the HF one seems like a great deal, but since I'm from europe it is sadly not an option. Has the same external knuckle as the toptul ones but the toptul is twice as expensive, oh well, everything is more expensive here so I guess that that's just the way it is. I usually buy...

    good breaker bar

Sorry to bump such an old thread but do you have any news on how the 24" toptul is working out? I have been looking at their 30" (CFBC1630) that has an external knuckle, the same principle as some of the bigger SnapOns. Should be stronger than an internal knuckle. Is 30" too long for 1/2"...

The green one? They seem to be called Heyco 60138, although the model number on them is 25-08, if you google around a bit I'm sure you'll find some for sale. Expect to pay around 10 euro for them, if you pay a lot more you are being ripped off :) I do not think that the place I bought them...

Well look at that, I think that the ones they sell now does not have the same print with made in West Germany on them though, the green Heyco ones still has it,wonder if it could be that they still are selling the old ones or if they just have not bothered to update the machinery. The green...
