Help me identify this side box

I know what you mean about the size. only stack on boxes I've seen seem to be very thin steel. I'm sure like everything else made from steel, the older stuff was heavier and built to last. I like the box and plan to either put it by the garage door and put a few screwdrivers, hammer, pliers...

Help me identify this side box

Found the closest match so far. MB Century out of Franklin Park, IL (slides looked different but drawers appeared to be identical). Any MBA Century box owners out there ever see this box before? Does MB Century stamp or mark their boxes?

Help me identify this side box

Box is 26" tall 13 3/4" wide 15 3/8" front to back I can't find any markings, stickers, or holes (other than 2 mounting holes on the side where previous owner put a side shelf on his side cabinet). I've pulled out the drawers and sliders also and found nothing. Box is in such great condition...

Help me identify this side box

Purchased a side cabinet today from a pawn shop. Like the box, wish I knew who made it. I've looked on it, in it, under it, and I can't find any indication as to who made it. Please check out the pic. I hope you either have this same box, can recognize drawer lip, or even the slides. Its...

Value of a SO KRA-149 box?

I've got a KRA149 (see link below for pics) http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2370170#post2370170 Heavy box for its size. If I absolutely had to sell, I don't think I could take less than $150. This is the only one I've ever seen. I like it and want to hang on to it, but...

Ever get rid of a tool only to need it later?

I've bought and sold tons of tools the last couple of years...find a deal on a toolbox full of tools, keep what I want & sell the rest (usually duplicate or triplicate tools). I'm on my 4th rollaway in 2 years...Trying to work my way horizontal and less vertical...I'm not even a mechanic, I...

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

I've got a few pairs of pliers that have seen better days. Perfect candidates to make a usable tool. I'm no welder, but I'll have one of the shop guys tack some iron to it when they get a chance. However...Now that I think about it, I do have an old battery terminal spreader that would work too.

Outlaw - Like your sheet metal tools. I've been using various size C-Clamps and even my small vise from time to time. Your tool does the trick in a flash.

    it's garage sale season!!

It was cool rainy in the Pacific Northwest this past weekend (whats new). But still decided to see if I could hunt down some tools. I bought 3 old tool boxes and this shop service desk. Pretty cool, but does take up some space...33" wide and 18" deep (front to back). Has a light...thats kind...

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Found a Snap-on KRA149. I'd never seen one of these before and couldn't pass it up. :D Great shape. Previous owner used it for RC cars/plane parts. All I did was replace drawer liners. Originally I bought with intent to sell, but now that its here and I'll never find another one as nice...
