    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

You got a link? I did a quick google but couldn't turn up anything useful. I swear google is getting worse now that it is trying to make AI do everything instead of relying on good old keywords to search....

Maybe we should request TTC do an episode on that? would be cool to see if the different boards in the batteries perform different with the same cells. Looking forward to your review of it.

That doesn't effectively turn them into 2.5s though right? The board is gonna control things the same either way?

I have several M12 6.0 batteries that won't even take a charge, all out of warranty. I bought a battery spot welder and was going to open them up and fix them... eventually. Has anyone ever swapped bad cells out in their batteries?

Got my original M18 12.0 battery back from RMA last weekend and it magically became a M18 12.0 Forge battery. Now I've got 2x12.0 and 2x12.0 forge batteries. Shipping it out was a pain but the warranty upgrade was really nice. I wonder if I'll be able to mow most of my property on a pair of...

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

OnTrack is terrible, I've hated them for years. I had a delivery come for a tool/battery promo and I got the tool with no battery. HD chat resolved the issue but it had to be done during business hours. I told HD I have video of the delivery driver only dropping off 1 package and I was happy...

I love mine but they **** with the larger amp hour batteries. The low battery warning is at a percentage or something so it starts flashing with the 12.0 WAY sooner than it needs to. The 5.0 battery is what that light seems to be calibrated for. When it flashes using a 5.0 battery, it really...

The only thing about that kit is it requires a pressurized water source where as the Kobalt fan will just pump it out of a 5 gallon bucket. A M18 to Kobalt tool adapter is like 20 bux. I haven't tried it with a fan but I feel like this might be the easier route? The misting kit is cool though.

Lowes sells a Kobalt fan thats sits on top of a 5 gallon bucket that does water misting. Maybe get that plus an M18 adapter? https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-7-in-3-Speed-Indoor-Outdoor-Misting-Stand-Fan/1003002600

I'm warranting a battery for the first time. The instructions say the battery needs to be in a sealed bag? Does anyone know what kind of bag? Can I use a ziplock or is there some special bag I need to use?

Mr. Subaru just posted a video of the new M18 "air" hammer. Looks like it hits pretty good according to him:

Freaked me out the first time I used a quick collet because none of my Milwaukee gear has one. I pressed the release and the bit shot off into a low earth orbit and I was like WTF? I think it was a friend's DeWalt? Anyway, I 100% get the frustration with 1 handed operation. When I'm...

Nice score on the free sawzall. It will probably actually do just fine, I just wouldn't run it with the 3.0 batteries. Probably want a 5.0 or larger for runtime. I have a Ryobi version that I used to cut some bushing cups on a control arm and those 3.0 batteries barely made it through 1.5...

    Mounting a Branick 7200

Did you just use like say 1.5" or 2" long 3/8" lag bolts to mount the Branick the 2x6 boards? I probably was overthinking this, you guys are probably right, the amount of stress on the wall is probably not much more than the dead hanging weight of the unit even when using it.
