Well ****. I see that now looking at those with a swivel base. Guess that would have a big impact on the value of it. Would be great if I could find a base for it. Considering I only paid $100 for the vise and the table, I think I still did ok.

To clarify on the model number. This is the best I can tell because it's not raised numbers but stamped on the opposite side from the name and it's hard to tell if it's 978A, 976A, or 975A. It does have a fixed base and all of the 978's that I've seen have a swivel base.

I'll be happy to let you come look at it for $40.
