I grew up with a dad who collected antique tools, so I spent much of my childhood with my dad going to antique sales/auctions/swap meets/garage sales..etc. That is where I was introduced to the great tool hobby. For a number of years, I didn't have time/money/space to engage in the hobby, but now that I have a garage, i'm revisiting my old passion

I myself focus on hanging onto tools I use. I don't have much use for 'display' tools. My passion now is hitting up Garage sales and Estate sales, finding neat old stuff and giving it a new life. Sort of a new hobby. I love to learn all about the great tool companies and all the great Americana that goes with it. I have great respect for well-made tools. Be it American or European, or ?!?!? Love to shake the rust off of 'em!
