I am about to order my door and I guess it's just me or are garage doors way overpriced? I do have an oddball size, 14X8, but come on. Where are you guys buying your doors? This one is an AMARR LP30 for 700.00 installed. No insulation or opener. What do you think am I getting screwed?
Sorry, no real plans. Just flying by the seat of my pants really. Well I guess the only real plan is to keep it in tune with the house. Make something that is somewhat period to the house (built 1898) without over taking it. I explained a little better in the posts before. Hope it helps.
Well it is "L" shaped as you can see. I plan to continue the gable back. That section is 14wX12. The longest part is 16wX26 that will be a shed roof off of the gable roof, with a 14X8 Garage Door. I built the carport about 2 years ago and decided I needed something on the ground. I built that...
