Interestingly I have this same vise. It labeled as "Made in USA" on the top but on the bottom it says "Taiwan".

The basement also has stairs that lead to the first floor kitchen. Additionally, it has a walk out patio with access to the back yard. I finished the basement so it could be used as an in-law apartment should we ever need it (god help me). I put in a full kitchen, full bath and bedroom down...
