Hectic few days but got my order in just a few minutes ago. Can't imagine not being the last order. Wanted more hammers and a cowbell, but it'll have to wait. Thanks Jori & HJE team for a great 2024 Esptein's Day!
Holy smokes the Malcos flew. I incorrectly thought they would sell out in a day or so, not minutes! Those needle locking pliers are popular, surprised it wasn't in their regular production.
My modest order. Was waiting to see if the items on backorder arrived, but no luck yet. The Plomb u-joint was my $5 mystery item. Really like the design on the shirt/bag as well. The small breaker bar is excellent and also has a drive end on the handle, which is a thoughtful feature. Thanks...
Order 000050346. Tight times, but happy to celebrate! Smallest order I've placed in the 7 years I've participated.
Hope everyone has a very happy Independence Day & Epstein's Day!
I'd love to go by someday. I imagine it like some magical space that's far bigger inside than the outside would lead you to believe, kind of like a scene out of Harry Potter. I'd probably keep running into walls thinking there's another dimension somewhere.
+1 on the Wright's
I got a 1/2" Dr set a few years ago during Epstein's and the 3/8" more recently. I have been very satisfied with them. They
are fairly priced, have deep & easy to see size markings, and aren't unnecessarily thick like some cheaper brands can be.
I have the old SK spline socket set that came with the palm control ratchet from quite a few years back. I was hesitant to use them initially, but found that they work quite well. They've worked well on some rusty/damaged fasteners and have worked fine on everything else. I even used the 3/8"...
I'm surprised no one has answered you yet. I have Zeal ratchet & sockets and part of the design is to have closer tolerances than their traditional line. There should be very minimal play in the anvil, as well as sockets & extensions. As a matter of fact, some of my non-Koken tools fit too...
Got my order a few weeks ago, but finally made it home to open it. Really pleased with everything and great art too. The SK ratchet is smooth and has a nice feel. The short Wright flex handle/breaker is a beast not even King Kong can break, and the Channellocks are nicer than expected. Last...
That's great news! Glad to hear things are going well and getting better!
Looking forward to receiving my box-o-tools, but understand it will probably take a while longer. I know I ordered some stuff that probably wasn't in stock from Wright & SK.
Order 6847 in early! Thought it'd never happen, as I'm always getting my order at the last possible minute.
