I have been using Pittsburgh and Capri at work in a semi truck/trailer & equipment shop. The Pittsburgh set I have been using for about 10 years and have broke 3 of them now in the last 2 years. But considering they have been used daily for that long, I would say they definitely don't owe me...
Went to an estate sale this morning, I got there about 30-45 mins. after it started. Ended up with a Wilton carpenter vise, craftsman bench vise, and a pair of vise grips. $45.00 total
Picked up this Rock Island #597 6" jaw vise tonight from Marketplace for $100. The dynamic jaw has been welded, but appears to be a very old solid repair. Jaws and rest of vise are in good condition. I figured it will make a real nice user for $100
Also forgot to post my last weeks estate sale 1/2 off day purchases. $28 bucks total, Dunlap vise, Utica & Channellock tongue & groove pliers, Thomas & Betts crimpers, Craftsman & misc. punches, hole saws, etc.
Awesome! That would be very appreciated. I have the old pin out and the swivel jaw removed, it needs some serious clean up to be back in working condition again.
