Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up just using a carpet transition from home Depot. Used rivets to attach it to the floor and it's holding great.

I am just about done with my big floors garage floor tile install. I need to finish the tile at an angle for a doorway, but I also need a transition there. Any recommendations on a transition that I could use in this situation??

Thanks for the reply. I had not considered the joints coming apart. I may have to buy a few square feet and test. The pile is only about 2mm thick and backed to a dense layer of vinyl so compression should be minimal. I doubt foot traffic on it would have issues, but parking might.
