I have a -2 story house on a hill. The garage is on the second floor along with the kitchen and the living room and dining room. Bedrooms are on the lower level. The entire house is wood framing. All that to say that my garage is on 2x3/4" sheets for a total of 1.5" on top of 2x10 joists...

My only issue is the potential sagging of the drywall in the corner. That is long run with what doesn't look like any joists since the cables don't look bent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
