Actually I looked at that, boot was a bit ****-eyed on the front of the carb, re-seated it, problem persists. Idles better though, now if only it didn't feel like it was pulling a boat anchor at low speed and want to snub out at more than 30% throttle...

I changed the front and rear diff fluids, and engine oil on a 97 Yamaha Wolverine. Now if I could just figure out why it dies when giving it full throttle. Time to pull the carb again I suspect.
I'm jealous of all the SK and Snap -On sets, all I can manage is a set of older Kobalt wrenches. SAE from 1/4 to 7/8 and Metric from 8-19 mm. I do like that they have the color coded red/blue marks on them. I have them in some cheapie Neiko wrench holders, as I do most of my work in my parents...

The one you have in your image is identical to the Fleet 1260-2 that my dad has, with the exception of the different markings. Mine has a much larger switch on it.

So I have an older Challenger 1260 ratchet, and when reversing the direction of the ratchet, the selector is very mushy, and gives no positive feedback that the direction has been changed.
I am wondering if any of you know if it is possible to get a rebuild kit that will fit these old...
