    Window suggestions

As noted above, there is no one right answer. In my case, transom windows over the garage doors did the trick.

Relocating and moving 2 post lift or sell and buy new qu

I moved my 4 post on my trailer 227 miles, installed it myself (when I was in my lates 60's) and would do again. You'll never sell it anywhere near the cost to replace it today.

Does Your Body Hurt Less with a Lift?

Four post with at least one bridge jack, worth every penny.

Any recent asphalt driveway costs to share?

Two years ago 9100sq ft cost me $30k in the middle of NH. They added two truckloads of base to what I already had, rolled it out on day one and paved on day two.

How crazy is moving a custom built carport?

Are you sure getting inside the property line is enough? Can't speak about TN, but everyplace I ever lived there was always a setback within the property line before you could build. Also, are you on good terms with your neighbor? If my neighbor came to me with an issue like this I would...

56' truss span, steel - standing seam - roof pitch?

I have a standing seam metal roof on my RV garage/workshop with a 7/12 pitch. Pretty good snow fall (middle of NH) and it always slides off once the sun comes out. I don't think I would do anything less.

    Would I regret a 4 post lift?

I don't know if they still have the same quality, but I've had a Bend Pak BP1 (14k, extra wide and long) for 25 years with zero issues. I think I paid around $2500 delivered in 2001 so I consider that money well spent, especially now that I'm old.

Garage battles and war stories - Or how I almost killed myself fixing _________

I have a 67 mustang and was planning on welding subframe connectors from the front to rear subframes. I jacked up the car around 18" and stacked blocks under the tires. I lowered the jack and everything was secured, but I noticed the tires were not centered on the blocks. That really didn't...

I had a new (no rip out of old asphalt) 9100 sq ft asphalt driveway put in last year in NH for $30k.

    Door size

That's the size I used for my RV bay (40' class A motorhome). Also, the garage has 16' height so there is room to get up on the RV roof when needed.
