I just noticed the swivel locks are rounded and not squared off.

The markings ( Curved Wilton, Chicago, USA ) are the same on both sides as in the above picture, except USA only on one side. There is a 132 stamped on the bottom of the swivel if that means anything.

Yep, 6" jaws. Thanks for the weight info. I remember how my car squatted when I put it in the trunk. My little sports car did not handle the same on the way back from Oklahoma with the equivalent weight of a body in the trunk.

Whatever color it is, I plan to powdercoat it. Prismatic Powders has something like a thousand colors and textures to choose from so a close match should not be a problem. Also, now that I see a huge picture, it looks like the base is cracked but it is a flaw/bulge in the casting itself and not...

Yes it was a local find. (I take it you are here in Austin. TexasEx as well... Hook'em). Anyways, I got it from a friends garage. I had coveted it for a long time and he finally let me have it. I told him what it was probably worth, but he said take it as he never really liked it because it was...

Is there a pre-determined back or front to a Wilton bullet vise Base? On my new-to-me C3, the base tabs are closer on one side than the other. 7-1/2" spacing on top side and 9" on the bottom. I don't think it will make much difference to me one way or the other...just wondering.

    Vise Info Thread

Hey Guys, This is a template of the base of my new-to-me Wilton C3. I am making a stand and am trying to figure out if there is a "back" or "front" to the base. You will notice in the picture the distance between the two feet are different. I can justify either side being the front or back, and...
