    Local zoning ordinances? Garage height?

    Seattle has a 30' height limit on detached buildings in residential areas. My neighborhood is mostly single story houses (including my own) and the garage is 25' tall. Thankfully Douglas Firs keep the garage from being an eye sore.

    The Square Drill Bit

    I've used a 5-side version of this (for hexagons) on lathes in the Navy. We had the fixtures for this variation on lathes and rotary broach fixtures for drill presses. I think the ones that we used may have had a collar for the piece to guide the shape of the polygon though...
