    The New Yankee Worksop

I loved the new yankee workshop. It was an awesome show. Very informative and inspiring. I started watching it 25 years ago and learned a ton. I went on to become a shop teacher and my home shop is very similar to Norms- but a little lot smaller. If the show was still on I would still watch it...

If you only had money to buy one set of combo wrenches...

You will hate working on cars real quick if you only had stubby wrenches. There are lots of nuts/bolts on cars that are on way too tight to remove with stubbies. You will be chewing up your hands. ----Before all the keyboard warriors tell me to start lifting, remember that working on cars you...

    Delta table saw

Have you tried a thin kerf rip blade? Might give it a try. Ripping thick lumber is a tough cut even on cabinet saws. Rip cuts are a hard cut. if it has a high moisture content, even more so. I usually use a combo blade, but on thick hardwoods, you can see big differences with a RIP blade.

Broke a spade bit in a 1/4 adapter

When mine broke, it was stuck in there fast. I had to take the knurled ring off. There was a c-clip on mine that allowed the ring to be removed. It was easy to get it out after that.

    Mattock

They are awesome tools. Just make sure to only get the biggest size. Anything less will crumple under swings. Even the biggest ones seem like they aren't made with quality steel, but seem to last- ok.

What do you think of the Scaffolding?

That seems awful cheap. I would make sure the store is legit. If it is seems like a good deal.

Dumb question, how to cut baseboard to go around a half pole?

What color interior paint and why?

Re: Wat color interior paint and why? I have always done gloss white on all of my shop walls and really liked it. I did that in my metal shop and garage and it came out great. Very bright. I thought I would get fancy in my woodshop and did the walls green, gray, and tan. It made it...

    Is my compressor enough?

Yes, your compressor should be fine. I have a 30 gallon tank and mine works good. If it is a bigger project you will need to let it recharge a time or two, but for smaller woodworking projects it will work just fine. I also recommend getting one of these pop up tents and a cheap box fan to face...

I have no idea what this tool is. It doesn’t make sense! Can anyone tell me about it?

How bout something to scrape muck out of hooves and they were adjustable to get in-between the grooves, or so they would fit on both sides of the horse shoe?

    Temporary canopy or tent question

That sounds like a lot of money, work, and effort for something that is temporary. The first one is 99 on sale, the second is 160. https://www.harborfreight.com/10-ft-x-20-ft-portable-car-canopy-62858.html https://www.harborfreight.com/10-ft-x-17-ft-Portable-Garage-62860.html

    220v Plug Question

I will offer some different advice than what you have been getting. You first need to verify these things: 1) Plug needs to say 220v 50 amps ( you already checked this) 2) Breaker needs to be 50 amps 3) Romex or wire needs to be 6 gauge ( this is the size to safely carry 50 amps) If these 3...

    When moving do you ......

I rented the trucks with the lift gate on it. I simply rolled the box onto the lift, hit the button and raised it up. ( If I did it again, I would rent the bigger lift though, just for additional safety. This helps when the truck isn't perfectly level. ) Then I just tie strapped the boxes to the...
