The timing of your application is very important. You might have put it out at a bad time. Also, it can take a few years to start working.

I've cut tires before but it was for making a swing and things like that. This, on the other hand, is a very thick tire, so I figured a regular drill wouldn't have the torque necessary to keep digging. I hadn't thought about a torch, though....:evil:.....I may just scrap the drill altogether...

I've always heard that those things aren't worth the money at all. And do you only need one? If you had to replace every vent at $86/ea that would get expensive very quickly.

If you have an outlet underneath the house, buy a dehumidifier and empty the tank frequently. I have one in a rent house and it stays dry as a bone.
