Using dust collection system for media blast cabinet

I'm building my Harbor Freight Blast Cabinet now and found several folks have used a variable speed controller to lower the speed of their vacuum system. However, I haven't found any that have followed up after years of use to determine if that idea harmed their vacuum. Anyone here with...

    BendPak Lift Question

I've got everything sorted out and the lift is working perfectly. Waterboyz,,,Chappy's videos on this lift definitely come into play and the location I saw the spacers for the ladders was on this website along with some other tips...

    BendPak Lift Question

I've got to say these are the craziest set of instructions I've ever seen for a piece of equipment that can have such a safety risk involved. Not to mention the terrible marking of the ports to use on the motor and the lack of markings for the various fittings. Some of which are...

    BendPak Lift Question

After some patience, and quite a bit of searching the internet, I found two places that described these "spacers" and bolts. Of course both sites identify that it took some technical help from BendPak to determine since it's not mentioned in the instructions. The aforementioned items are...

    BendPak Lift Question

I just found a photo of the hinged plastic pieces and they go on top of the crossmember diagonal area that houses the safety locks. Now for the bushing?

    BendPak Lift Question

For those who have a BendPak lift, I'm wondering what I'm missing here. I bought an HD-9 lift and, after unpacking the parts, I found a couple of items that I cant find where they go or where they are described in the assembly manual. I've read the manual at least a dozen times and still can't...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I found an old restaurant sink on Craigslist missing the legs. Installed it in my shop using galvanized pipe to create a leg system.

Lincoln "Turning Back the Clock" $999 210MP

Interesting! Mine arrived on time via UPS. It's fairly light so I'm surprised it came via freight. Mine came directly from Harris in Ohio so maybe it was better to ship from there than drop shipping from Lincoln?!

Lincoln "Turning Back the Clock" $999 210MP

Ordered mine last Friday evening from Harris Calorific (aka Torchking). I was able to use the eBay $100 coupon applied directly to the order for a grand total of $899 (after rebate). Received notification from UPS it's coming today. Can't wait to get this thing! Hoping it's as good as the...

Directly from BendPak... From our engineer....."Actual Knockouts are PG-16 which is threaded and the ID is 21.25 mm." Too bad they don't include the adapter with the compressor. Adapting is what we do...LOL I'll work on the connections using all your ideas to find what works best with the...

    BendPak V-Max Elite air compressors

Thanks for getting back to me on this. In the mean time, I went to a couple of electrical supply houses with the Teco Magnetic Switch info and everyone just scratched their heads. I initially thought about drilling it out to fit 3/4", but after my initial look at the inside of the housing, it...

    BendPak V-Max Elite air compressors

Dishpointer, Thanks for the info. I was looking at your photos and it looked like you went into the center of the box, but not sure. I have two knockouts top and two bottom, but again they aren't 1/2" or 3/4" so I'm not sure what to use to take advantage of the threaded knockout. I guess if...

    BendPak V-Max Elite air compressors

I'm finally getting to the compressor! Felt like a kid with a boxed toy that you can't touch until Christmas, but I'm finally getting there. Has anyone figured out the size of the threaded knockouts on the bottom of the electrical box? I'm trying to run a flex conduit to the box with my 8...

    Air Compressor Plumbing Help

Actually, their website has the specs at .98" outside diameter and .80" inside diameter so should work fine. It looks like I can buy fittings that'll allow me to create my drops out of copper as needed. Valves seem to be a bit cheaper that way.
