Likewise. If nothing else, it would put the water from washing the car to good use...

    Schnitzel's Showroom | 3-car Garage Renovation

Went to Target this weekend and picked up a dozen or so plastic storage bins to replace the blue ones (see post #42). The new ones, clear with a grey lid and latch, fit the look of the garage: I love the bins for aggregating smaller items (boxes of nails, screws, etc.) or containing things...

Thanks, all. I still need to line the drawers, trim the butcher block top, and get everything put away. The garage is 99% complete, though, and I'm very pleased with how everything turned out.

No 12-cylinder Italians here, I'm afraid. (At least, not counting the two parked on the butcher block counter.) I wasn't planning to post these but, since you asked, here it is:

It took me a while to find time to get back to the garage. I finally blocked off an afternoon and made it my priority. If the Moduline cabinets were impressive when I unpacked them, they're knock-your-socks-off awesome installed. :rocker: I'll probably get some wood-finish toe molding to trim...

I need to find time to do the actual installation but I have the base cabinets unwrapped and roughly placed. (There are three base cabinets - the farthest cabinet is a wall cabinet.)

The Moduline cabinets were delivered this week. The butcher block counter arrived a week or so ago. I haven't been able to do anything with the cabinets besides remove packing material from the base cabinets. I will say that the Moduline folks do a commendable job packing their cabinets for...

 After living with it for a couple months, I made the right decision. It is durable, easy to clean, and looks great. It's the first thing anyone compliments when they see the garage.

The new cabinets are on the way and will be delivered in a few weeks. After much deciding and re-deciding, I went with an 8' configuration of Moduline ProII cabinets, lowers and uppers, in white with butcher block countertop.

The bollard is about 2 7/8" diameter outside and 2 1/2" inside diameter. I looked at both steel pipe caps and PVC pipe caps at the local home improvement store and, so far, found nothing that fits.

The cabinet decision is made. Cabinets will go in place of the two steel racks in the picture, and I've moved one of the steel racks to the right of the door.

I applied one final coat of yellow to the bollard using a foam roller to prevent brush stroke lines. I have to say, it was a bit of work, start to finish, but I'm very pleased with the result. I considered black to match the other round pipe but that bit of bright yellow really works. I...

    Schnitzel's Showroom | 3-car Garage Renovation

It has been roughly eight months since the story of Schnitzel's Showroom began and we have now caught up with present day. One of the last items to resolve is the bollard. I looked first at bollard covers from industrial supply stores but they were all made for larger outside bollards. So, I...
