What's on your walls? Neat storage ideas!

A small parts/hardware cabinet thing to go next to the cordless tool cabinet. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Late on the reply, but the t&g lacks rigidity and the solid feel that comes with a more solid work surface. Once it's replaced, I still might tack down some tempered hardboard as a sacrificial top layer. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Not the prettiest, but it works. I wouldn't really recommend the T&G planks for a work surface, but given the limitations I had at the time, it worked. Hopefully soon I'll be replacing the work surface, at which point I'll install one of my bench vises as well. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Garage improvements to help a portable ac unit.

Thanks for the responses y'all. I've got an oscillating wall mounted fan just above the unit too help move the cool air coming out around. The window is a side opener, so a normal window ac unit isn't an option unfortunately. Ceiling insulation is on the list, it's just on the list to...

Garage improvements to help a portable ac unit.

Alright y'all, I have a 350sqft detached garage, the walls are insulated, the ceiling is just drywall with no insulation above it. The 9 foot wide door is insulated with foam panels, but south facing and it still gets mighty warm around the door throughout the day. In about a week we will be...

What's on your walls? Neat storage ideas!

A bunch of 2x2 and ripped down 2x4 makes for some easy and cheap clamp and extension cord storage(1/2" conduit set into the wood for the extension cords). And an old garden hose hanger makes quick work for an air hose. Total cost was a few bucks worth of 3" construction screws and a 10' long...

So was the portable battery charging when this happened or just sitting there idle, unplugged, etc? I've personally seen batteries cause issues from charging and have become a little paranoid about them when left unattended. I've actually wired an outlet into the same switch as my overhead...

A little something for my mom to make taking care of her chickens a little easier, and a matching step stool so my daughter can help. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Lets see your workbench

For all you workbench aficionados, how well do you think a laminate countertop for a kitchen would hold up? General garage workbench type tasks, occasional gun smithing type stuff. Not to much pounding and hammering, and I've got a beefy all wood bench outside the garage for when I really need...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I put together the entertainment center. Wall mount on the smart TV, a little shelf for the radio. Ignore the antenna wire. That will be hidden by some shelves that haven't been built yet. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I thought about that, but high gloss gets a little more glare than I prefer. Semi gloss is the happy middle ground for me. Either way, the semi gloss is done and up. No turning back now. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

The garage upgrades got moved down the list too take care of things a bit higher on my list of priorities. 2 costs of pva primer on the new drywall today. Tomorrow will be white semi gloss. I did cheat and farm out the drywall finishing. We've got a contractor here doing a bunch of other...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Anything that breaks, no matter where we are, even when she's with her mother and that side of the family, "daddy can fix it". It doesn't matter what it is. Flat tire? "Daddy can fix it" Broken bookcase? "Daddy can fix it" Her mother drops a glass in the sink and it breaks? "Daddy can fix it"...
