Thanks! I missed that detail. Earlier in the thread someone was looking to install 8 lights in a double 4 domino layout bc of a center column and this would work in my garage bc of the opener and track. Do you think it would provide adequate light? Sent from my iPhone using The Garage Journal...

I really liked the maxlite fixture but was worried about it not having a cover since to ceiling was lower. I had planned to just bypass the ballast in the sb232. However if you think not having a guard around the bulbs would be fine I’d be more than happy to pay less for the maxlite housings...

Good afternoon everyone. Found this forum and so far love everything I’ve seen. So many ideas. So little space or money to implement but hey, I can dream and live vicariously through everyone here.

I have started reading this thread and I have a relatively small garage and was wondering if the lithonia sb232 was still recommended for a garage with 8’ ceilings? I’m thinking of mounting 8 total, 4 above each bay. Garage size is 19’x21’x8’. Standard two car garage.
