Reviving an old thread. I bought a powerline extender to get Wi-Fi from the house out to my metal skin pole barn. It doesn't work, apparently because they are on separate power panels, even thou its on the same meter. Any suggestions??
Wow, learn something new everyday. In all the projects I've done, big and small, I have never had an inspector look at that. We always use the longest run method for sizing.

The outlet is 3/4" FIP, just use a short ****** and a filter housing will thread right on it. I use the goldenrod filter, supposedly shrinks itself shut if water gets in it. Any farm store will have this stuff. And that black hose will last about 2 years max in the sunlight.
