drill bits that will cut anything

I think to drill hardened steel such as an easy out, you're going to need a carbide drill bit. HSS and even cobalt are going to dull immediately, at least in my experience. http://www.use-enco.com/CGI/INSRAR2 That link will get you started. Browse around of course to find exactly what you are...

    Eagle Industries Pneumatic Tools

Anybody ever hear of Eagle Industries? http://www.eagle-premier.com/ I've never heard of them, but I have seen their products listed relatively cheap. Seemingly cheap prices, but without personal experience it's hard to say about quality Check this little guy out...

    Welding Respirator

I have a pretty standard 3m half face respirator that I also use for painting. I wear it under a Hobart Hood. It is just a tad tight, but it does fit. I have to spread the helmet just a bit to get it to fit over the outer filters initially, but once past that tight point, the respirator fits...

    Enco Lathe on CL

Hey thanks for the advice. I'm quickly rethinking the lathe. Although I was not set on it or anything. Thanks for the well written explanation of your opinions PMECH. I'll check out that Clausing. I did enjoy how you relate the use of a crappy machine to driving a car, I laughed a bit at that one.

Oil Pan Deepening (lots of pics)

Well gents, while I do appreciate the constructive (maybe) critiziscm, I'll let you know the pan has been leak tested, one pinhole detected, and fixed. As far as welding courses go, I'd love to take one if I had the time, but I don't feel like I need one. The pinholes at the center of the welds...

Oil Pan Deepening (lots of pics)

Yeah, the pickup will get modified accordingly. As far as "weeping" goes nate, all I can say is NOT ON MY WATCH! Welding was done with a hobart 180.

Oil Pan Deepening (lots of pics)

Hey guys. A fella at work had a 5 quart oil pan for a 340 Mopar that he wanted to give some extra capacity to. So he did the math and figured out how much deeper the pan had to be to achieve the desired 6 quarts. He made an attempt at it. First he cut the pan at an easy spot. Then he spliced in...

    Socket Organization

    Air Hammer

If you don't want to spend an arm and a leg, such as I did, don't get the CP 717. But I tell you what, I don't regret the amount of moolah I spent on that one. Used the nonsense out of it, and I haven't run into a job it can't handle. You do get what you pay for, and this one is worth the cash.

Hey guys, I'm on the hunt for Clecos, primarily 1/8" shanks. Looking for the standard fasteners, as well as wing nut and hex draw fasteners. Already been to ebay, but just want to see if anyone here has a few more than they need.

    Proto Big Dawgs on eBay

Hey guys, Ive got a 1/4 and 1/2 drives in these big dawgs. I decided I wouldn't pay over 15 bucks for any single ratchet from now on. So over the past year I've watched ebay like a hawk for these ratchets. I wound up getting the 1/2 drive for $13 shipped, and the 1/4 for $10 shipped. I haven't...

Paint Gun Cabinet/ Engine Stand Tray

Hey fellas. Most of you have probably seen the small stuff I've put up in the classifieds here. I have a couple other "goodies" to show off now. The first, is a cabinet for our paint guns and related stuff (sand papers, sanding discs, etc....). The second is a small tray to fit our engine stand...

    1967 Camaro Forum Suggestions

Well, I need a passenger door shell, as well as a defrostor vent duct. I need a set of rs tail light lenses, and the hide-away head light motors. I need an rs grill, and a four speed. I date correct motor would be nice. Also, a correct rear end would be great too. I could use a console as well...
