I agree with just doing a concrete sealer. This is all you need to keep anything from penetrating. Anything more is a total waste of time and money.

It does sere as a true thermal break, but because it's not continuously contacting the concrete surface (grid on the bottom) then they probably can't sell it as an insulated flooring tile.

Go rent a thermal imager for a couple of hours!!! It will cost way less than piercing a single heat tube!
