It's been a long time since I've been on here. I guess that's what happens when you have a shed, you spend most of your time in there :)
I've done quite a few things in the last 6 months. I've got benches to work on, locking door/ plus many other projects that I've started and some that have...
Hey Ken, welcome aboard. Not that I'm a veteran or anything.
Great looking setups you have and looks like we have a few things in common. We like the same cars (although the Fords were my first love before Mazdas and I'll end up back there one day) You also work on big apartment buildings. I'll...
Hey Ken. Very good to see a local who also likes his Mazdas on here, and has a nice pair by the looks. I'm pretty sure the 1300 was owned by a cousins mate a few years ago. The R100 looks pretty nice too mate, they're not cheap these days.
Not much excitement from me unfortunately. Been working on stripping and rebuilding my John Deere, setting up a new brew vessel and building my benches.
Photos will appear up here soon.
My hops are going ok so far, nowhere near as good as last year as I was a little late watering them...
Thanks Carves, thats the path I'm going with the welding table.
As for the vice, or vices. I'll have one on the bench and another I'll mount on a bit of steel that'll either be concreted in the ground or bolted to a plate thats concreted in. That'll be used for the bashing and bending.
Hi Guys - I'm finally getting around to building my workbench and welding/fab table. I was lucky enough to score the bench below which came out of a sheetmetal factory. It's level, BIG and well built with a few bits that need cleaning up.
As it is it's too large to be practical so I'm trying to...
Another big update. I got myself a cool new job so managed to get 2 weeks of holidays off between resigning and starting my new job. This meant A LOT of jobs have been completed over the last two weeks, not all shed related though :(
I started work on my PA door. This is going to be an ongoing...
Great to see another Adelaide shed. Nice work on the slab, thats a serious amount of concrete for a shed in the burbs. And a great sized backyard.
I've used that **** before on a previous lawn. It's fantastic for the warm climate and doesn't need a lot of water.
A small update but a big step. I finally got my doors painted and clad over the weekend. You wouldn't think it's winter at the moment but I had to wear suncream. We've had an amzaing few weekends which means quite a few jobs have been completed, but only a few are shed related.
Just waiting for...
I've been looking at this cordless Nailer. Have you had the chance to play around with it yet? Wondering what the weight feels like as it's slightly heavier than other gas powered Nailers.
Thanks 69, I'll do a bit of reading up on that one. Never heard of it until today.
That works out to more than double of other 2 pack products I've seen here in Australia. Which product are you looking at bigjon?
