Wall height and 2 post lift

I agree, but I think he said his side wall height was the restriction - I was just giving another option.

Wall height and 2 post lift

That's true, but is that an issue? It certainly isn't in my case.

Wall height and 2 post lift

My lift is in an area that has an 11' 6" ceiling. No problem lifting cars or trucks. The posts are only 9' 3" tall.

2 Post Lift to store vintage car

No issues with storing a car on a two post - I have had cars up on mine for years without any "premature" bushing (or any other components) wear, or any issues with the lift itself.

    Rubber roof repair

I'm in MA and do ponds for a living - we use EPDM all the time and patch/ seam together liner. Location of 2 Post Lift

The minimum I would set the posts is 12' from any front wall, tool boxes or benches. That will leave you plenty of room. As far as side clearance, that is up to you. Mine is mounted 12" from the side wall and it is plenty of room to walk around the post, remove axles etc.

Who has a toilet in shop or at least a sink

Wife said no bathroom and no tv in the shop when I was building - she said I would never be in the house if I had those. A sink with hot water is a MUST have in the shop.

    2-post Lift Options/Advice

2 post lifts are used for storage all the time - mine certainly is, as well as most of the shops I have ever worked at (mostly dealerships). I absolutely love my Atlas 2 post - it is the BP9k. Made for "low ceiling heights". The posts are 9'3" tall. My ceiling height is 11'6" but most things I...

    2 post car lift question

Read your owners manual - in my it specifically states the there will be some "drop" if not settled on the locks -in very large letters it says to never leave the lift under load without setting it on the locks. Also, if you want to work on your vehicle at a level below the locks on the lift...
