    Center Punch Recommendations

    Starrett is the gold standard. Have used mine for over 7 years and no problems. The Harbor Freight units work for a few months then the tip dulls to the point of uselessness.

    If you can see any of the threads on the drain plugs I would be tempted to use penetrating oil. Then let it creep overnight. Might save you from having to heat them. My Dad has a similar Montgomery Ward compressor. He passed away in 2003 but it is still on the job. I use it at the homestead...

    Chop saw tripping breaker, am I only one?

    I had the same problem with my DeWalt chop saw. Installed a 30 amp dedicated outlet and breaker. Works like it is supposed to now.

    Shop Shears/Scissors

    Using EMT shears and Milwaukee #48-22-4040 scissors. Both work but the Milwaukee scissors are much more heavy duty and rigid. Picked the scissors up at the Home Depot.
