Starrett is the gold standard. Have used mine for over 7 years and no problems. The Harbor Freight units work for a few months then the tip dulls to the point of uselessness.

Using EMT shears and Milwaukee #48-22-4040 scissors. Both work but the Milwaukee scissors are much more heavy duty and rigid. Picked the scissors up at the Home Depot.
