I have a dynamic jaw, screw and nut from a 4" early Parker combination vise ( thanks to B100 for the ID ) The screw is 14 1/2" long 7/8" dia. and slightly under 4 tpi. I also have a smaller vise screw that is 11 3/4" long 3/4" dia. and 5 tpi. I am looking for a screw to fit a Reed 104 or 204.
Does anyone recognize this vise? I picked it up hoping to use the screw and handle for a Reed 104/204 but the threads don't quite match. The dynamic jaw, screw and nut are in nice condition. I will offer those up if someone can use them. The closest I've come is possibly a Trojan. It has 4"...
On the Prentiss, If I sideline this vise then I need to find another at least 4" vise to replace it in that shop. I have a very nice Reed 104 that sees a lot of use. I also have a Reed 204 in nice shape but it is missing the handle and screw. Actually the Prentiss was the replacement for the 204...

Hi, I've had this vise for a long time and always wondered what it's intended trade was. It is a bit different than any I've seen. It has 4 1/2" wide jaws and 1" screw diameter. I also wanted to try posting pictures.
This seems to be the place. I have a couple of vises I can't find any information on. The first is a Reed 134 1/2 R. It has a 4 bolt stationary mount, the flattened handle mount of the newer ones and 4 1/2" jaws. The beam on the dynamic jaw is the normal style with the keyhole hollow down the...
