Yep that's how I change it on my vehicles. But it's very rare I find any information in the logbook about the last fluid change on unknown vehicles. :bounce:

I know these testers are not precise, but my question is whether a $5 tester off eBay will be exactly the same one sold by OTC or Endeavour or Wurth or if you buy a more expensive one they'd be 'more' precise and better built?

Thanks for all the answers guys. I'm working in a smash repair doing mechanical jobs, so mostly suspensions. Dealing with atuck driveshafts sometimes, or control arms and tie rods, replacing studs on the wheel hubs etc. just tired of smashing everything with a notmal hammer, plis sometimes you...
