Ive spent some time getting tools out of cars and equipment, Usually if I cant get it out in like 10 minutes I cut my losses.. That is so long as it not going to interfere with any moving parts.. Those 10# "power cap"magnetic pickup tools sold on all the tool trucks are the best thing anywhere...

I used to have a Mac Tools dealer...Was great when he would come around, Never see him in the area anymore so I do the mail to Mac Warranty as well and I must say is a way better experience than dealing with returns on the truck. It does not cost too much to send them in via "flat rate" postage...
