i belive the little black thing on the shaft is a stop for making repeat cuts. i've got something similar on mine. great job on the restoration. looks brand-new!

Yea... It's really simple. I use the dies quite a bit. Just cut the hole, sandwich it in the dies, and throw it in the press. Adds only a minute or so. Here's the ones I use and a few examples. Finished product... Front clip for a roadster I'm building... As SENLOW said, they are...
