It states 'Grains(hr ft2 in Hg)' I haven't performed a moisture test. Let's say I did have some moisture due to it being an older slab. Would it be beneficial to have a more or less permeable product?

I looked again at the performance characteristics of the base coat and noticed the WVP Perms are different. The satin has a 5.0 and the gloss has a 2.0 May be a dumb question but when it comes to water vapor barrier performance, which is going to be better for a garage floor?

Ahh thanks for clarifying. That does make sense. Yep, one wall is above grade and the other has dirt up against it with a raised flower bed. Will Loxon XP primer help block out that moisture? Are there any other sealants that may help in this situation?

Not sure what you'd classify them as but basically on 2 of the 3 non-garage door walls there is this concrete about 3 feet high and then sheet rock the rest of the way up. The odd man out wall just has plywood

Have a home built in 1960 and I'm renovating the garage. I have bare concrete on the walls that I plan to use Loxon Primer/Sealer prior to painting with an exterior latex paint. Would it be overkill to acid etch these walls or will the Loxon probably adhere well enough with 2 coats?
