They ship from the factory in a heavy duty ziploc bag, so I'd think ziploc is fine.

I used to be an engineer at Milwaukee. I wouldn't add anything to the battery. Some tools are intended to be more loose on the battery fit. In general, it's normal for batteries to be "loose". It makes it easy to assemble onto the tool, and you want the battery to be able to move so things...

I haven't tried it yet, but I think I like the idea. This new way, you can change the mode with one hand. So if you're holding a bolt or nut with your left hand and realize you're in the wrong mode, you can switch it to neutral, change the mode, then switch back to forward/reverse. With the old...

So the reason for the low chain speed on the hatchets it to comply with safety regulations. If you have a chainsaw with more than 5 m/s chain speed, then you need to add a brake.

What is the manufacture date on the serial number? There shouldn't be any reason to deny warranty due to Ebay unless it's out of warranty date.

Just cut/grind the triangle and circle off of the plastic fan piece if you want to try a different blade. They are only there to ensure the user installs the blade correctly.

There isn't a specific "Diag App", depending on what you're looking for, each tool or series of batteries would need to have custom software written just for that tool. From what I saw, it was always some Windows program, it never had anything to do with the OneKey app.

I bet you're talking about the one-key adapter. https://www.homedepot.ca/product/milwaukee-tool-m18-one-key-adapter/1001560531 I used to work at Milwaukee, and we used them for lots of diagnostics on tools.

That's awesome Rusty. Do you have any more pics of your storage? I see a cool mount for the angle grinder that I might have to try to model up.

I cut up tons of branches/brush with the M12 Hatchet and have never had the chain derail for what it's worth. I know what you mean with larger chainsaws derailing on small branches/brush though.

What battery did you use it with? 4.0's produce more torque than compact 1.5 or 2.0's.

For what it's worth, it has 7 height settings.

The Flex Head Ratchet Thread - Locking vs Not - Discussion

I've never used a locking flex head ratchet before, but I do like the non-locking, as you can break a fastener with the handle perpendicular to the socket, and then you can turn the handle so it is parallel to the socket and quickly remove the fastener like using a speed wrench.
