those are called a cheater vent , do not use it I am a licensed plumber an d though it is a bit of work run your vent thru the roof .you can use 1.5" to just below the roof then transition to 3" it is not that hard to do , with a properly installed rubber flashing you will have no leaks. run...

that is sweet nice to see the 71 -72 and up are starting to be restored more and more , the price of the older sttuff is crazy for alot of them

keep it as stock as possible ,was my grandfathers first car driven tll 57 put away with the motor freshly rebuilt, taken out of strage in 81, technically my dads for now but I will be the next owner slow going as life got in the way for my dad till about 1998
