I’m using 3/4 inch galvanized pipe And the hose is 5/8 I would have to mesure the inside dimension of the plastic fitting But it does not look smaller than the setup You posted

If I understood correctly I’ll change two pieces The one under the hopper and the one going to the ball valve What do you mean when you say put a close ****** ? I did try playing with the ball valve (from 0% to 100% in increments of 5% ish )
