Just wondered how this turned out? I'm considering powder coating an old Powr-Kraft DP, but beyond this post haven't seen anyone use powder when restoring shop tools. Any thoughts on pros/cons would be very much appreciate!

I know the post is here, but I simply cannot seem to find it again. I'm looking for the post that provides a contact for ordering Craftsman DP bearings. If I remmber right, it was a lady someplace in Texas. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you!

So here's one I've never heard of and can find very little info listed online. The listing has very little info but from the photos and what I've found online, it was made between 1954 and the early 1960s. I'm going off the fence, and the factories listed on the front plate. Yep. Looked it up on Ebay. Unless I was looking at the wrong one, the vise was worth more than what he was asking for the DP. Mostly wood. Some Steel.

Mac - thank you for the response! Any tips on how to check the bearings in this thing without breaking it down? It looks to me like the seller swapped the chuck and maybe spindle, which my guess was an attempt at fixing runout. I'll know for sure when I look at it.....which may be tomorrow!
