Does "Elroy" have some issues besides the Husky tools?!

I have a really great old Indestro #6272 3/8" drive ratchet that has the externel L/R switching lever broken off of it. The switching lever is one solid piece with the internal gear pawl. Does anyone on this board have any ideas on how I might replace this part? All suggestions welcomed! :headscrat
