Hey E.rodz. Good to hear from you. Life has been busy, so not able to post lately. You did... Just now! Haha. And I'm fine. In fact, I might have some exciting news coming up that would warrant a revitalization of this build thread... ASYLUM 2.0 perhaps!

Well, since the garage is 3 times the square footage of the living space, I thought I better make it more enticing to be out there than in the apartment. If I could, I would spend most waking hours out there... so many fun projects on the list yet!! Thanks for stopping in.

I suppose there were several solutions. I know you can't bury a splice in the wall without access to it, so a junction box would likely need to be added if lengthening the run if wanting to go up and over and keep the switch box where it was by the door. I'm sure there are some electricians...
