I bought a stanley kit 4 years ago. I am a mechanic use it daily.
I never broke a socket, another tech broke one of mine on a breaker bar.
I wore out 2 13mms, 15mms, and 10mms sockets.
They get used on impacts too.
******** isn't the only choice.
p.s. I paid 80-100$
Looks good,
When I was 15 I built something really weak out of 2x4 legs, and a 2x6 going across the top
It held to pull an engine and trans out of an acura integra. Was probably a death trap but no harm was done.
nope, they make those in electric versions now (cordless drills)
And that is what I use to assembly trans, just turn the chuck down onto a lower torque setting and go.
The 40' wall
I was thinking about 3 doors.
I want it to be big enough to be able to work on 3 cars at once, and abit of space on one end for the man door, compressor, welder and all the other shop tools.
I am looking to build a 3 car garage that I can work in.
I am going to put a 2 post hoist in one bay.
I have a old firebird that I will be restoring, that will be a long term project,
I was thinking 32'x40' but I am starting to think the length is to short.
Just looking for anyone's opinion...
