Where I live in Hancock Park Los Angeles buying a property will cause 5x whatever your building. My kids go to YMCA. If I lived in the middle of nowhere like you do I would build it too would be awesome
Hello I'm still fairly new to G1 but love it!!
Where are these "flea markets" at? I live in Los Angeles and I've been to one on fairfax/3rd... sucked and no good selection on tools.
Can anyone lemme know the spots!! Pm me thanks!!!
They got a good public relations team. Minimum wage in California just went to 10$. A lot of McDonald's workers don't deserve 10$... they always mess up my order where I live.
Never made my own but sounds like you used the wrong tool, but hey you got the job done. I never did it myself but it sounds interesting. I would've tried my circular saw first..
Sounds like your on a budget... buy the Harbor freight breaker bars with coupon.. you can get em for around 10 bucks bro
Don't stress your ratchets on tough jobs. Use it properly and either will be fine obviously!! Personally I would go with what the other guy mentioned. I would replace 1 set...
"channel locks are rust magnets to me. I look in my box of pliers and the channel brand looks way way worsely oxidized than everything else in my box. What's with that? They work well but I'd rather buy Knipex, and no the rust doesn't affect their performance. . . yet anyways"
do u live near...
Actually wrench+ hammer won't even work on bottom half as it's a loose hose and I use channelocks to hold the bottom half of connections and wrench the top loose.
They don't sell the "hat" seperately
I live in los angeles
I broke it while installing the repair kit. It was leaking air on top of strut before I replaced the parts. While I was tightening the last stud it didn't feel like it was getting any torque then it just snapped. I think I tightened...
So what did you end up getting? I just ordered a wright 3/4 bb and was thinking of using it with a 1/2 reducer adapter and 1 in crowfoot. Yeah it sounds like overkill but I'm playing with some tight connections (hoses, can't use sockets btw)
Any ideas?
I'm thinking about buying one too. Ratcheting titan might be interesting.. some diesel connections don't just "break free" and lose all pressure after the first quarter turn.. they don't get easier till your almost done removing it. So that's the reason. I'm living without it but if it works...
Hm a lot of mixed opinions here..
And yes I meant air suspension, not actual air bags that set off during accidents.
Most people agree with drill/tap. Ive never did this and thinking of how to "tap" it upwards confuses me. Guess I gotta read some threads on tap n drill..... grrr.....
Now some...
