We use Hilti epoxy anchor bolts all the time and they work fine. There is nothing wrong with them as long as you stay within their load limits.

Maybe I missed it, but I did not see an answer to your Maxjax question. A two post lift cannot be mounted on top of the Racedeck, or any type of composite tile floor. The compression load at the inboard edge of the floor pad on the jack will cause a failure of the tile allowing the jack...

The early Superformance Cobras came with the 8.8 rearend. Mine is over 600 HP at the crank and is holding up fine. There are others out there with more HP and they do not seem to have issues either. I would not consider them to be junk.

The sound of it does not bother me a bit. The one thing I love about it is I can lay down on the floor to do something and I don't feel like I'm laying on a slab at the morgue.

Concrete is fine in compression, but with a two post lift, the side that failed in the picture is in tension. Concrete ***** in tension. Unless there is rebar taking the tension loads, it greatly increases the chances that it will fail.

I have had mine for close to 2 months now and love it. Can't believe I put up with the old noisy POS that I had before as long as I did.

Here is a link to a site where I discribed my installation. I originally had an issue with the tabs until I figured out to start in the corner and work my way out. Worked fine then. I have pictures on the site below that shows what I'm talking about...
