    What's happening with Stahlwille

I would like to update this thread. This arrived in the mail today. From halfway round the world. Stahlwille takes customer satisfaction very seriously. It took some time for them, but they did it anyway. This level of service makes me a patron for life. The 17mm is the replacement, the 14mm is...

    Euro Tools Query

I was looking at purchasing both Stahlwille and Hazet 1/2 and 3/8 fine toothed ratchets. Yes, reading those reviews from actual German buyers turned me away from purchasing. Even on other German speaking forum sites they have some negative information. I've decided to stick with my Kokens and...

Sweden V. Spain SO Adjustable Wrenches

I have an Irega 8" and 10." These were my father's tools given to me when I started wrenching 24 years ago. They are still fine to this day aside from the chipped chromes. They have outlasted the Bacho ones I bought new

Why do people grind on snap ring pliers?

Seems like someone got into the community box and swapped them. Probably have a not so friendly relationship with the Snap-on guy so can't warranty their own pliers

Available on Amazon.jp but maybe a bit shorter than what you wanted. Only 4 1/4 inches in length. About $23 plus shipping.

Bolt head fitment of Hazet 600N wrenches

This came today. I was originally only intending to get the SPC/10 set. Then got permission from the wife to get the more comprehensive SPC/16 set. It ended up costing about $193 including shipping here in the Philippines. Open ends on the Hazet are a tad looser compared to the Stahlwilles. Box...

    Breaker bar vs. Ratchet

The Japanese manufacturers to this day also calls them spinner handles, not breaker bars. KTC has a chapter on this on the proper usage of hand tools

1/2 Socket Set Recommendations: Koken, GearWrench, Tekton, or something else

Is Grey Pneumatic available to you? They have a set called Duo Sockets. Thin-walled (wall thickness similar to chromes) impact rated sockets. This would be a good solution to the problem of needing two sets chromes or impact sockets.
