Re: Dormer Centre Drills Yes I think they would be great for that, the small diameter on these is 3.1mm and about 5mm long, the shank is 7.9mm (mine arrived today). The seller has quite a few similar items but I thought this was a particularly good deal, especially with the free postage.

Ok probably not for everyone but there is a CVA lathe on ebay with a buy it now of £500 and even considering offers. It looks well used but they are really nice lathes and much more solid (and heavier!) than your average Colchester. It is in Ross-on-Wye, if it was close to me I would get it...

Yes I think you should use a small flap of polythene, Tyvek or tar paper behind vertical joints in the boards. Not against the OSB but directly behind the joint between the boards, just to direct the water back out. In your case you would need a folded piece on the corner behind every board...
