Rotator Ratchets - which one to get?

I am seeing the Stanley / Blackhawk / Proxxon / Facom models. Probably just go with 1/4 drive. They all appear to be made in similar fashion.

    New Bondhus Screwdrivers bent?

I found a nice extra long #2 Phillips, an industrial branded, made in Germany screwdriver. Within a week that thing was bent like a dogs hind leg. I took it out of rotation and used a Wera instead.

    Missing tool...hope I'm not alone!

I think I've been losing tools and pocket knives for 35 years (I'm 41). I now have plenty of tool storage which goes a long way to tool retention. I am to the point where I need to use either a tool cart or at the very least a small bucket to retrieve tools or there will be hell to pay for my...

    Good Rivnut tool?

I've got a smaller rivet tool which has been a great go to (bought from Bolts Plus) and the above Astro set up to 8mm. My advice is to grease these tools for added usability. When I examined the action of the Astro, you can see that the amount of movement in the tool is only a few mm's, this is...

Damn I'm never getting those Merry hs175c's at this rate. I was having a hard enough time sourcing the cheapest deal.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I installed a lower control arm on my daily driver, 360000+ Km on my Toyota Matrix. The rear bushing has been giving me noise for quite some time. After having done shocks, struts and end links I was still having too much noise on the passenger side, noticed mainly while driving slowly around...

    Automotive electrical diagnostics

Logic probe, long leads with battery clips and 12 volt outlet - for logic probe to go off front battery. 9 volt battery popper with momentary switch for speaker polarity testing. Meter with audible continuity tester.

    Tekton is awesome!

I'm eyeing the QR 1/4 and standard 1/4 ratchets. I think one is 5" and the other is 6". I work on auto electrical and rarely need more larger drive sizes. I want a few nice ratchets I can afford to lose if and when we cross that bridge.

    Question on jig saw

I have a monster DeWalt, its heavy and not a surgical tool by any means. When I have used a Bosch barrel grip, it cut like nothing I've used before. When I want square cuts, I trust a chop saw or a table saw. When I want a circle, I skip the jig saw and go straight for the router! I would...
