    My backyard Texaco

BIG CHANGES COMING!!!! A friend of mine owned a small repair shop in a former Texaco station and recently retired. At one point, we were talking about me buying his building (an original Walter Teague designed Texaco station) but alas the building was in such bad shape and a local developer...

    My backyard Texaco

Since we moved to our "retirement" property, I quickly put up all the Texaco stuff on the outside of the barn and put the inside collection inside my attached garage. The white Texaco barn was just used for storage ands was a general mess inside. Well since moving I have taken on another hobby...

I also use threaded rod into concrete. It works well, and if someone wants to steal a pump, they will have to work for it! y security camera's will alert me long before they can get a pump loose....

    My backyard Texaco

no its just an old truck, I won't be racing it..... lol no I don't race the Vega either... I "retired" from racing many years ago. I was racing so much that I got burned out on it, and it was no longer fun for me, so now I just drive it around town and to cruise-ins and car shows and enjoy it.

    My backyard Texaco

Just bought a new toy... this will become my Texaco shop truck! It is a little newer than I wanted but couldn't pass up the deal. It is a 1979 Ford F150 Lariat edition with a 460 big block and ONLY 16,000 documented miles. It did spend a fair share of its life outdoors but still in great...

    Backyard Texaco's Bar Barn

We hosted our annual party (we call it a Car B Que) and had about 100 people join us Saturday night. Always a great time! My wife spends two days smoking and cooking: BBQ Brisket, Pulled Pork, BBQ Chicken, Smoked Hot Wings, plus all kinds of sides and desserts. We open up the bar and all...

    Backyard Texaco's new attached garage

I haven't logged on in a long time so I thought I would do an update.... I haven't done any more work to the Texaco barn, the Texaco garage or the outdoor bar because I took my hot rod down to the frame to rebuild. Now that its done I will start back on the garages... until then, here is what I...
