Looking at rolling shop stools. Something that can get pretty low to the ground so I'm not super uncomfortable cleaning wheels/tires or doing brake pads (I don't have a vehicle lift). Any suggestions would be helpful!
Being outside, won't the fuel be at higher risk of condensation with big temp swings? Also, living in Phoenix and storing fuel outside -it's possible the Temps of the containers being in in an outdoor shed could be 140 degrees plus in summer. I imagine that poses dangers?
Sorry my last post was pretty ****-ish.
Been a long day. But the vehicle is indeed prepared to run ethanol regarding the fuel system. I know ya'll are mentioning laws and such, in which I asked for comments/suggestions/concerns and I didn't like some of the answers and lashed out.
But as I...
I left out the hellraiser upper pulley, 10% lower pulley, Injected Engineering triple "gasohol" fuel pump system, and Injector Dynamics 1300# injectors because it's pretty much implied when converting a car like the hellcat to E85 you intend to run more boost.
Not running E85 for the sake of...
It's used for flex fuel vehicles, but it's highly popular with the forced induction crowd. It has an octane rating of about 109 and burns a bit cooler - allowing the supercharged/turbo vehicles to run a lot more boost without the worry of detonation.
Maybe labeling it race fuel was...
So say I get a few 10 gallon HDPE containers. They will either be 100% full, or emtpy. Every time I open one of the 10 gallons they will be emptied and 100% poured into the vehicle, no residual will be left in the container until it's filled again.
Is it really that much more dangerous to have...
I'm looking at converting my hellcat to run E85 soon. One problem is that the nearest gas station that sells E85 is a good 15 miles one way. It's a busy part of town so that 30 mile round trip is a 1+ hour ordeal due to traffic.
I'm thinking about getting a 55 gallon drum and filling that up...
I could be be wrong, but I *think* that was for a battery&charger/sprayer/tank bundle.
Perhaps just a bare sprayer (with tank) option could offer better affordability
Woohoo. I think Milwaukee has answered my prayers. I just saw an ad for a new portable battery powered 4 gallon tank spraying system capable of 120psi.
Washing/rinsing my black hellcat with distilled water just became a lot easier. No more hard water spots and I won't even have to dry it off...
Why not just start with a 98-02 LS1 f-body?
They put around 320ish to the wheels stock, good heads and big cam will get you about 450rwhp on a stock bottom end. They only weigh about 3500lbs.
Just don't get an auto, they're 4l60. The t56 6spd is pretty bullet proof.
Nowadays you can get...
Where did you get the metal pegboard?
I've been looking for pegboard to help organize my garage, but I'm leaning towards the metal style.
I'm also in AZ but I'm hesitant to get racedeck, how's the warping in this heat? Unfortubately my garage faces east and gets hit pretty hard by the sun
That's the exact one I just bought a few months ago.
Home Depot had an open box one for $449, and I applied for the home Depot credit card and got another $50 off. For $399 I feel like it was a pretty good deal. Lots of power but I still need a longer hose. 25ft doesn't cut it.
I checked them out and I thought they were really flimsy and poorly built. Made me confirm my decision to get the US General.
But if you're happy with them then
