No I wouldn't advise to flush them, unless your a plumber by trade. I like them, picked up a bunch off Jeg's sale a while back too. I use them daily, keep stash on my service truck.

I have a 52mm wrench. I work on heavy equipment for living though. I use a lot of 1" and larger stuff.
