It's not pretty, but how hard would it be to just take an otherwise-nice set and just carve/melt the size on the end cap? If you already own a usable set, no need to replace it just for that.
I guess deliberately marring tools might seem wrong, but tools are there to be used...
I just started using an air ratchet (my first), and I'm able to add yet another to the list of reasons that I should have gotten an air compressor a decade ago; it's an incredibly useful device. (Both the compressor (just the $99 HF 8G oil-lube) and the air ratchet.)
Anyway, the ratchet itself...
So, I recently picked up my first compressor, the HF 8-Gal Oil-lube unit. While running, it feels as if some air is "pulsed" out the intake. The unit does build pressure, so I guess more air is coming in than going back out.
Is this a normal part of operation, or does my unit have a marginal...
