    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

Thanks for the idea. I'm not sure if I can get the Dust Deputy around here locally, but I hadn't thought about connecting my wet/dry vac as a dust collector. If nothing else, I'll get a better filter for it and get an adapter to connect it directly to my tools.

Anyone try the smaller 13-gal dust collector (1 HP)? http://www.harborfreight.com/13-gallon-industrial-portable-dust-collector-31810.html#.Ux3Qr_ldXYg I don't really have a dedicated workshop, so I don't have room for a bigger dust collection system. I'm looking for one that I can connect to...

Can anyone give any input on the mechanic's gloves that HF sells? I see three different ones all under the Western Safety brand... Blue/Black ones http://www.harborfreight.com/mechanics-gloves-medium-61235.html Green/Black ones...

Purchased that router yesterday. Last night I decided to give it a try... when I went to tighten the depth adjustment, I made sure to be careful not to tighten it too much so that I wouldn't crack the plastic. Unfortunately, I didn't have to worry about that as the metal threads in the nut...

Thanks. I ended up getting a set of router bits from Menards for half the price. Who knew that you could get stuff cheaper than HF? :dunno:

In case, anyone else is considering this router, I found some reviews that gave it decent marks. http://www.benchtopwoodworkingtools.com/harbor-freight-trim-router-review/ http://lumberjocks.com/reviews/525 http://lumberjocks.com/reviews/389...

Thanks for the feedback. How about the router bits that HF sells? In particular, I'm considering getting this set: http://www.harborfreight.com/12-piece-carbide-tip-router-bits-46832.html I only need the flush bit now, but I figure for the price of two bits at big box stores, I might as well...

Anyone have any feedback on their trim router? http://www.harborfreight.com/1-4-quarter-inch-trim-router-44914.html I'm looking for a small router to trim laminate on a counter top. It's a little low on power (only 0.5 HP and 2.4 amps) compared to brand name ones of the same design, but I'm...

I also agree that the "click" is easier to feel than the hear. When I first used mine, I ended up re-torquing the oil drain bolt a few times because I didn't notice the "click" initially, but knew that I was starting to tighten it too much.

You do realize that both Craftsman and Snap-On sell tools made in China now, right? In any case, if you opened your mind a little, you might actually notice that some of the stuff they sell is actually pretty durable and useful... particularly at the prices they sell them for. Most people who...

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

I don't remember, but I just checked HF's website, and they don't appear to carry it anymore. I could only find one that has a hood... http://www.harborfreight.com/9-1-2-half-inch-magnetic-parts-tray-with-hood-97801.html

The link works for me. The item number is #97807, and it's listed for $12.99 on their website (but it's only available at the store).

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

Here's what the coupons looks like... It's a little hard to read, but it cannot be used on compressors, generators, tool storage or carts, welders, floor jacks, Towable Ride-On Trencher, open box items, in-store event or parking lot sale items. HF sells WAY more products than what's listed...

I haven't seen any recently, but you could always just use the 20% off coupon on it. Otherwise, if you're not in a hurry, I'm sure there'll be one coming soon... I've seen it pop up many times before.

Lets see your Tool Carts/Service Carts

Where did you get those magnets that you're using on the cover of your cart? I've been looking for magnetic tool holders for my cart, but the only ones I've found are made to be mounted on a wall, so they aren't magnetic on both sides.
